In 1983 Avalon Hill put out Lords of Creation, a short-lived RPG of inter-dimensional adventure. It was a multi-genre system, where players would travel between worlds of fantasy, sci-fi, and all sorts of other weirdness.
It was a boxed set that included the main rule book and a monster manual called the Book of Foes
It wasn’t commercially or critically successful, and the rules were a little clunky, but I’ve always had a soft spot for it. It had a wild sense of imagination. A lot of the short world descriptions in the main book are still full of good ideas for GMs.
My favorite was the Land of Ulro, which was a fantasy world based entirely on the works of William Blake, the 18th century English mystic & poet.
I’ve made a fillable character sheet for LoC. Once the initial stats are filled in, it will calculate a lot of the derived values automatically.
