Midnight Boulevard is a RPG by Michael Brown set in the world of film noir movies. It uses the Traveller/Cepheus Engine/2D6 rules system.
To reflect the darkness of the noir source material, it adds the concept of scars – a randomly rolled source of turmoil in the character’s life.
